Telehealth use increases
http://While vaccinations are on the rise and coronavirus cases are on the decline in much of the U.S., something that took off during the worst days of the pandemic is here to stay: telehealth. Between March 2019 and March 2020, telehealth visits increased by more than 150%, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Even after the pandemic comes to an end, up to $250 billion of current health care spending nationally could move to the virtual environment, according to a May 2020 report by McKinsey & Company, a management consulting group.
